The Coronavirus Pandemic has brought an unprecedented time to all of us. We wanted to take a moment to reach out to our community to let you know what we are doing. We are closely monitoring Covid-19 and taking the recommended health measures from our governmental authorities and health organizations. It is our hope that this crisis is short lived and our community maintains good health during this difficult time. In order to do our part to help protect the health of our employees and our customers, Protect-N-Shred, Inc. has instituted the following actions.
Employee Interactions with Clients
We have implemented the following policies to minimize the interaction between our employee and our clients.
- Employees will not report for work if they feel any symptoms such as fever, difficulty breathing, headaches or muscle aches.
- Declaring their fitness for duty each day on arrival to work, subject to supervisor evaluation.
- Frequent sanitizing of hands using soap and water and hand sanitizer.
- Frequent sanitizing of equipment used for service.
- Maintaining social distancing at all times between employees and customers’ personnel.
- Elimination of signing of work orders and transferring or sharing of paperwork or writing utensils.
- If refused entry due to a client policy or concern, stand down.
Security
The security of our clients’ information that they have entrusted to us will continue to be our top priority. All company policies and standards will remain in effect and strictly enforced. We will always continue to provide the same level of security and service that our customers expect.
Flexibility
During this time, Protect-N-Shred, Inc. is committed to work with all of our customers to help in any way we can. Unless instructed to do so, we will continue to provide service as scheduled. However, we have the flexibility to change or move our clients' service in any manner that will be helpful to them. In order to make a change, please call 330-637-0070.
Essential Business
Protect-N-Shred, Inc's document destruction service is considered an essential business, so we will continue to operate our mobile shedding service during this time. We are committed to helping our community by continuing to provide our professional services to our clients to ensure they are able maintain data security, even through a crisis. Our service will also help our community by generating wastepaper product that is directly supplied to mills for the manufacturing of toilet paper, tissue and paper towels.
