Who We Are
Protect-N-Shred, Inc. is the Mahoning Valley’s premier locally-owned shredding company located in Cortland, Ohio. We opened our business in May of 2005, serving Trumbull County with one shred truck and the business took off from there. In January of 2008, we purchased Docu-Shred of Salem, expanding our area of coverage, service options and our customer base. In the fall of 2008, we received the Greater Mahoning Valley’s Growth Award for New Emerging Business. In 2010 we added our second shred truck and continued to grow and expand our coverage area. In 2015 we purchased and merged Alpha Omega Document Management into our company. This added another truck, enlarged our customer base and widened our service area. Today, we service customers from all over Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. We reach cities such as Cleveland, Akron/Canton, Erie, Pittsburgh as well as Warren and Youngstown. We set ourselves apart from the competition by providing great customer service and a secure, dependable, quality shredding service at a fair price. We work tirelessly to ensure that our services are provided seamlessly and with minimal interruption to our customers’ operations. Our ultimate desire is to have a customer base that is so pleased with our work that they do not hesitate to call us again.
